Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is a mercurial musician and singer who blends Soul gospel Jazz and R&B to create a unique mix. From Broadway to European festival and clubs, Avery Sunshine has been a hit across the globe. Sunshine can be described as Denise White. Even though she lives in Atlanta now, Sunshine is from Chester Pennsylvania. In Chester Pennsylvania she first began her journey as a musician playing and singing at the church in town. After graduation from Spellman College, Atlanta she began her musical journey on the Atlanta's R&B culture. The Fighting Temptations The single which featured her vocals"Stalk You a House 12, was only released in Japan. It has been remixed many times, and is the mainstay in her live performance. Her voice was also featured in the music video for The Fighting Temptations. In 2005, Tyler Perry hired her as the primary keyboardist in his stage show Meet the Browns. In 2007 Grammy as well as Tony Awards-winning singer Jennifer Holliday sought her out to become the choral director for the stage production of Dreamgirls at the National Black Arts Festival in Atlanta. Sunshine gained national recognition for four daily performances during the Democratic National Convention in 2008. Sunshine was invited to perform at the inauguration of President Obama in 2009.
