Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude is an Canadian actress best known for the fantasy television show Shadowhunters on Freeform and the Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea Pa' Que te Enamores. Emeraude is also an accomplished model and dancer. She was born in Montreal, she was brought up in Texas. Her entire life she has had a passion for performance. As a kid she has been taught in a variety of dance styles. When she was 15 years old, she was taking part in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained fame after, in 2008 she was a contestant in Nuestra Belleza Latina season two of Univision's beauty pageant. She began acting in 2010 in the role of an office receptionist in the Telemundo episode. In 2015, she appeared in her first feature film, an action drama called Tattooed Love.
